Rami is an entrepreneur, and investor , he founded his 1st startup at the age of 19. And was one of 13 Jordanians invited to attend the Presidential summit on Entrepreneurship in Washington DC 2010. Before founding Arcoten, Rami was former CEO of N2VLabs (The Digital powerhouse / Knowledge and Scale Platform / Investment arm) by N2V.com ; the largest internet investment holding company in Arabia). Rami is an Electrical Engineer, he completed the Senior Executive program at Rady School of Business at UC San Diego, the Venture Capital Executive Program at HAAS UC Berkely, and the LOA Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education Program.
Back in 1998 Rami spearheaded the knowledge server team that powers aljazeera.net . then co-founded, led as CEO, or investor / board member a number of technology-based ventures, where he served Fortune 500 and (semi)Governmental corporate clients like Microsoft , Cisco , Intel across the levant and GCC regions.
Rami is deeply rooted in the arabic geeks community , with a special passion towards the Lean Startup , AARRR and Customer Development Models. He is a regular judge, mentor & keynote speaker during Entrepreneurship , Digital Media , Big Data and Technology related events; like GEW & Startup weekend , and is also famous for holding free 30min monitorship sessions that can be booked through his blog ramialkarmi.com
