Imad Ayoub is the CEO of Cyberia Group; the leading Internet service provider operating in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Jordan. Cyberia is serving corporate, SME and consumer markets with fixed and wireless broadband, data communications and security services and solutions. Cyberia was acquired by Oger Telecom in 2007. In 2010, Imad led the acquisition of Nesma and merged it with Cyberia Saudi Arabia.
Imad is also an angel investor in telecom, Internet and online service companies and helps entrepreneurs with mentoring through Oasis500, IV Holdings and Endeavor.
Prior to Cyberia Imad co-founded and led several companies, including Global One Jordan in partnership with France Telecom, Deutsche Telecom and Sprint International. Global One Jordan launched Internet and Data Communications services in 1996 and become the leading service provider and was later fully acquired by Jordan Telecom. In 1994 he co-founded NETS, which launched email and online discussion forums, and was later acquired by Batelco Jordan.
Imad started his career in 1984 in the Silicon Valley, first with American Microsystems where he carried Research and Development on microchip design and process development, then with National Semiconductors where he led Ethernet Applications Engineering Management.
He serves on the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Foundation and was Chairman of Tamweelcom Jordan’s leading microfinance company.
Imad holds a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Santa Clara University, USA, and participated in the High Performance Leadership program at IMD Switzerland.
